The Ingredient We Refuse to Compromise On: Ginger

Of all the ingredients in our lineup, ginger is the one we're most particular about. Here's why the source matters so much — and what we look for.

Ginger Is Not All the Same

If you've ever tasted fresh-pressed ginger juice versus the stuff from a bottle, you already know this. The heat, the brightness, the almost citrusy zing — that only comes from ginger that's been properly grown, stored, and handled.

Most mass-market juices use ginger that's been sitting in cold storage for months, sometimes imported from across the world with little traceability. We don't do that.

What We Look For

High gingerol content — the compound responsible for ginger's heat and anti-inflammatory properties. Fresher ginger = more gingerol.

Proper cure time — freshly harvested ginger needs 1–2 weeks of curing to develop its full flavor profile. Rushed ginger tastes flat.

Organic certification — ginger is on our non-negotiable organic list. It's a root vegetable that grows directly in soil; pesticide absorption is significant.

Why It Shows Up In So Many Of Our Juices

Ginger is in almost every blend we make — and intentionally so. It's a natural preservative, an anti-inflammatory powerhouse, and it balances the bitterness of greens beautifully. Getting the ginger right is getting the blend right.
